Ryback is proud of his mixed heritage that includes Ukraine. In fact, 'Ryback' means 'fisher/fisherman' in the Ukrainian and Polish languages. He finds it heartbreaking with what is going on in Ukraine and is hoping for a peaceful end so the country can re-build.
So Ryback couldn't just stand around. It's not his nature. Ryback jumped at the chance to assist a close friend to build and hold a fundraiser for Ukraine Humanitarian Relief in 2022.He raised food, prize and financial donations along with promoting and selling tickets. Ryback worked the event. In the end, this team event was incredible. Amount raised $10,100!
