Kelly has been a regular blood donor his entire adult life. He recently reached 127 whole blood donations. He continues to give the gift of life and promotes blood drives.
Ryback became involved in charity fundraising at an early age but his 'giving' is most evident in his commitment to Canadian Blood Services. He made his first whole blood donation in a mobile unit at John Taylor Collegiate while in grade twelve.
Ryback has now donated 127 times over forty-four years. He was one of the youngest persons to reach the 100 whole blood donation milestone. Ryback has been featured in CTV-Winnipeg's 'Hero in You' blood donation drive every year since November '21. He also promoted blood donations on St. James community Facebook groups numerous times.
